We believe in the making of covenants as part our of
confession and profession of faith and to further provide and
establish a level of accountability between us and God the
Father and with each other. So please prayerfully read aloud and
acknowledge your desire to covenant with this ministry before
our heavenly Father and He will judge between us while we are
apart from one another.
Since we have entered into covenant with God
the Father by accepting Yahshua Messiah (Jesus the Christ) as our Savior, being baptized
into the Body of Christ as believers, making a public confession
of our faith and commitment to Christ in water baptism, and now
accepting the calling and leading of the Holy Spirit into the
Gospel ministry, we do joyfully and earnestly enter into
covenant to serve together as one with each other in the body of
Christ.
We commit, therefore, by the aid of the Holy Spirit, to walk
together in Christ’s love, to keep a spirit of unity in the bond
of peace, and to minister to one another’s needs. We pledge to
watch over one another in brotherly love, to pray for each
other, to exhort and encourage each other in our walk as
Believer's,
to help each other in times of need and crisis, to rejoice with
each other in times of triumph, to weep with each other in times
of loss, to speak the truth to each other in love, to be slow to
anger with each other, to be quick to listen to one another, to
be careful not to offend each other, and always be ready to
forgive one another and reconcile speedily.
Realizing that we have been recognized and authorized by our
fellow ministers of the Gospel to be named among them as a
fellow minister, we commit to living our life as an example of
faith, integrity, patience, perseverance, purity, diligence, and
commitment. We will share and wear the mantle given us with
dignity, honor, respect, and humility, realizing that we
represent God the Father, A.L.M.S. Network, our local ministries, and our fellow
ministers. We will study the Gospel diligently, teach it openly
and regularly, and live it constantly. We also commit to work
together to reconcile the globe with the Gospel of Christ and as
co-laborers in the harvest field of the world. We will regularly
support those who spiritually cover and minister to us with our
prayers, a tithe of our income, our honor and respect, and our
availability for service. We will support the work of the church
(the Body of Christ)
locally and globally with offerings and make service in the
ministry one of our priorities in life and ministry.
We pledge to live godly (righteous) lives that reflect the character of
Christ and to encourage each other to do the same. We will do
our best to resist and refrain from the desires of the flesh to
include all types of sexual immorality, impure thoughts, lustful
pleasures, idolatry, participation in demonic activities,
hostility, quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish
ambition, division, gossip, envy, drunkenness and addictions,
wild parties, and other kinds of sin. We agree to quickly seek
forgiveness and repent of these things ourselves and to help
others do the same. We will seek instead to walk and live in the
Holy Spirit, letting Him control and operate through our lives
with both His gifts and fruit. We will strive to walk in love,
joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
gentleness, and self-control and help each other walk in the
same.
We further commit to nurture and maintain a
godly (righteous) home and
family, practice private devotions, educate our children in the
Word of God, live a life of biblical example in our community,
conduct our business and work affairs with biblical ethics,
share the faith, hope, and love of Christ with others, and to
help each other do the same. We will help each other to
understand, develop, and fulfill our individual, god-given
destiny and purpose in life and ministry, and commit to walk in
that purpose as it unfolds to us. We will quickly and privately
come to one another at any time we are concerned about our own
godly walk or that of the other, and will strive to both help
and restore each other in an atmosphere free of condemnation and
full of love. If we ever move from this place, we will unite
with another body where we can continue in the spirit of
biblical covenant and in service to Christ and others.
If you have read, understand and agree to abide by this
covenant of fellowship and relationship, then please proceed to
